Asylum

Our experienced attorneys are willing to tackle the most complex of cases on your behalf

Foreign nationals may seek asylum in the United States if they fear persecution based on their race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group or political opinion. The government requires individuals to apply for asylum within one year of entering the United States. However, there are certain exceptions to this rule. Additionally, the asylum seeker must show that the persecution was by the government or a group of persons that the government is unwilling or unable to control.

At Ninan + Vibriesca Law, LLC, our attorneys have experience representing asylum seekers before both the Asylum office and the Immigration Courts. We have helped individuals and their families escape persecution and live safely here in the United States. We understand that many individuals seeking asylum are victims of trauma and suffer ongoing trauma after arriving in the United States. Our goal is to be sympathetic and sensitive to your needs, while fiercely advocating on your behalf.
